Join this Fawcett Society talk with a welcome from Joanna Place, Chief Operating Officer at the Bank of England. Followed by a panel discussion led by Matthew Taylor, Chief Executive of the RSA and former Chief Adviser on Political Strategy to the Prime Minister. Matthew has blogged over 1,200 times on topics ranging from policy, politics, public service reform and cultural theory to the RSA itself; he has also written numerous articles and is a regular panellist on Radio 4’s Moral Maze.

Matthew will be joined by a panel of guests including Fawcett Society Chief Executive Sam Smethers and Nicola Smith, Head of Equality and Strategy at the TUC. The discussion will be chaired by award-winning journalist and author Poorna Bell. The discussion will focus on the future of the workplace with particular reference to what the implications will be for industries dominated by women, including part-time work and lower paid jobs.
