Events Officer We’re looking for someone to deliver an events programme for Fawcett that engages members, supporters and the public at large in our ongoing research and campaigning. You should share our values and our commitment to end gender/sex based inequality.This role will begin focused on online events delivery and progress to a hybrid programme of online and in-person events.You will be able to plan, co-ordinate and deliver events, work effectively with team members to keep events, the planning and the accompanying materials of consistently high-quality, approach and brief speakers, liaise with events and manage our CRM for registration and processing and more. Senior Research and Policy Officer This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy team and it comes as we all face a challenging time. Fawcett’s focus on women and girls’ lives is critical as the COVID crisis risks turning the clock back on gender equality. This post will be central to our policy and research team, including leading on a number of projects addressing issues such as different models of paid childcare, response to the pandemic, and women’s hidden volunteering that supports social and medical care. We are looking for an experienced research and policy specialist with a strong, intersectional understanding of the gender policy issues we work on, who is comfortable working with a range of qualitative and quantitative research approaches and who thrives on being part of a small, dynamic, collaborative team. You will oversee varied projects from inception to delivery, managing budgets and timelines, and will be able to work with the team to campaign for the changes your reports recommend.
