The Fawcett Society has delivered change for women in the UK for more than 150 years. Our work is founded by Millicent Fawcett but continued by you.

Right now, we are in urgent need of additional funding. That's why we’re asking for your help to secure a feminist future by joining Courage Continues – our new philanthropic programme to help grow our impact and drive change for all women and girls.

Why we need your help

We're a small charity with a big impact. It costs us around £1.2 million each year to maintain our existing activities. To achieve our ultimate goals we will need even more.

Currently, we mainly fund our research and campaigning through membership fees and grants, but to be sustainable we must diversify. In 2020, we aim to raise £35,000 through Courage Continues, so we can unlock our potential to take our key projects to the next level of impact.

With this additional income we will enhance our research and broaden the reach of our campaigns, such as Equal Pay, Smashing Stereotypes, and our Sex and Power Index.

Shape the future of feminism

Courage Continues offers you the chance to shape a feminist future as we work together to set a progressive women’s rights agenda in the UK. You will have the opportunity to build a deeper relationship with Fawcett, add your voice to our movement, and network with fellow feminists.

You will also receive bespoke updates and invitations to exclusive Courage Continues events (see our calendar below) where we will share our projects as they develop and engage you in discussions with Fawcett leaders and fellow members.

Join Courage Continues today

We’re asking for a minimum pledge of £500 per year to directly support Fawcett’s pioneering research and campaigning and, as a result, champion positive change for women and girls in all their diversity.

Please join our Courage Continues programme today by getting in touch with Manuela at [email protected].
