Listening to Greater Manchester Women’s Voices event

It is 100 years since some women first won the vote. But there are still too few women at the top in politics and other positions of power, and our society is still unfair for women. We love Greater Manchester - but we need to see changes to make it work for women.

We are working on a project to make sure that the voices of women from all walks of life are heard in conversations that shape the public services and decisions that affect their lives The first event will focus on Listening to GM Women’s Voices.

It will be held on Friday 27 April from 10.30-2pm, including lunch and refreshments. It will be held at Manchester Metropolitan University’s Student Union, at 21 Higher Cambridge St, Manchester M15 6AD.

Accessibility: The venue is designed to be accessible for disabled people. If you have any other requirements in order to participate, like sign language or a hearing loop, please get in touch with us to let us know.

Costs: The event is free. Please fill in details below about what you need, like help with travel costs or childcare, in order to be able to attend.
