Women save around 40% less into their pension pots than men. This gap represents the culmination of a life-long gender pay gap. But women also tend to save less, are less likely to report that they understand pension products and 75% do not know how much they need to save for a comfortable retirement. Smaller pension pots mean that women are more reliant on the state pension than men, and vulnerable to changes that can leave them worse off as many women born in the 1950s are currently experiencing after the recent increase in state pension age.

Join us for a practical session grounded in the latest research to find out more about your income in retirement.

Speakers include Baroness Jeannie Drake; Lizzie Spring, 63-year-old second wave feminist who supports the Women Against State Pension Inequality campaign; Polly Trenow, feminist activist and researcher; June Eric Udorie, writer and feminist campaigner; and Ben Rebbeck, Financial Planner, UBS Wealth Management.
