News Events The Vote 100 Women in Business Summit We're proud to support City & Financial Global for The Vote 100 Women in Business Summit, which is taking place in Royal Garden Hotel, London on 17th April 2018. Event partners include the Women’s Network Forum, the Government Equalities Office, the Women's Business Council, UN Women UK and 100 Women in Finance. The Summit will bring together a platform of distinguished women, drawn from a range of business sectors, to discuss the key issues facing British business today, including the critical importance of diversity in the boardroom and among senior management. Given that 2018 is the centenary of the 1918 “Representation of the People Act’, which gave women the vote for the first time, the conference opens with a session that reviews how female leadership has changed over the last century. The event builds on the success of the previous editions of the Women in Business and the Women in Finance summits, which both attracted 250+ senior delegates across the industries, government officials and regulators from across the UK and beyond.
