• The findings of the Political Studies Association Research Commission on Care which was composed of the Fawcett Society, The Political Studies Association Research Commission, the University of Sheffield, the University of Warwick and the Women’s Budget Group
• This Commission was established in response to the intensifying crisis that is playing out in the delivery of care for older people and the failure of successive governments to acknowledge, and take action, to address this crisis
• It sets out some of the key issues in the future provision of care and calls to make care for older people a political priority
