Fawcett Society Jobs
Committed to gender equality? Want to protect women’s rights and speed up the pace of change?
Get involved in the UK’s leading feminist campaigning charity…
The Fawcett Society is looking to expand our Board to steer the charity towards achieving our vision of a society in which the choices you can make and the control you have over your life are no longer determined by your gender. We are looking a number of new trustees.
We are particularly interested in applications from people with accounting experience to be our Honorary Treasurer; the skills and experience to chair our Finance, Audit and Risk sub-committee; business development experience; and with fundraising experience.
We would like to increase the diversity of the board and are particularly seeking applications from young people, men, disabled people, people with black or ethnic minority backgrounds and people from LGBT communities. We are also open to candidates who do not have board experience but who do have relevant skills or experience to offer.
Closing date for applications is Monday 27th March at 5pm.
If you would like to discuss the role please contact our Vice Chair, Tanya Joseph via firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can download an information pack and application form here.
A word version of the application form is also available here.
We welcome volunteers year-round, so please take a look at our volunteering page to find out how to get involved. You can also get involved by joining one of our local meet up groups.
