News Events March 4 Women 2019 EVENT: 14:15 - 16:15, Sunday 3 March 2019 Join Fawcett at this year's March 4 Women, organised by CARE International UK. Following in the footsteps of the Suffragettes 100 years ago, who used to hold rallies and jamborees in Westminster Central Hall, we'll be taking to the very same space to celebrate the progress we've made towards gender equality, with inspirational speeches, debate, and musical performances from our centenary supporters. And we’ll be taking forward the global fight for gender equality by asking you to join us in calling for a worldwide treaty to protect women everywhere from violence and harassment in the workplace. We’ll have contributions from activists from the UK and around the world – and you will have the opportunity to lend your voice to our campaign. Our aim is to ensure that the most vulnerable and marginalized women and girls, including garment workers, domestic workers and those living in extreme poverty, have protection.
