Gender Stereotypes in Early Childhood: Share your experiences

Why are our children being held back by gender stereotypes? It’s 2019. We should have moved on. But in the news, we still see little boys being bullied for wearing nail polish, and girls told superhero shoes weren’t made for them.

They are facing the same rules and restrictions that we faced growing up – and we need you to help us challenge them. We are launching a major campaign to #SmashStereotypes, and we want to hear your experiences to feed into it. Tell us more below!

On International Women’s Day, celebrities and campaigners will join us by sharing their experiences of gender stereotypes online, along with pictures of themselves as children. We want you to be part of this special campaign. Tell us about your experiences of gender stereotypes as a child by completing the sentence below.
