Online workshop programme
Because of coronavirus, all Equal Power training is now online.

We’re running a programme of FREE online training for women on getting into politics, using your voice online and getting active in the upcoming local government elections. This programme includes spaces and support specifically for groups of women who are underrepresented across politics, including Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority women and Disabled women.

You don't need any existing knowledge or experience. Sign up for several different sessions or just one, whatever works for you.

We are committed to ensuring that our trainings accommodate the needs of all women. If you need additional support to take part in an online workshop, such as live closed captioning or a BSL interpreter you'll be able to request this when booking onto a session.

Take part to be inspired and gain the skills and knowledge to get more politically active. We welcome women from across the political parties (and none).

A note on language: We understand and are mindful of the limitations of certain phrases used when describing diverse women with intersecting identities. We are exploring the language we use, particularly for those whom racism, and other forms of prejudice and discrimination may be factors in their experiences, particularly when embarking on political journeys. We are committed to creating spaces for such women, in order to better understand and address the inequalities faced.
