Over the festive period, Fawcett have been supporting Let Toys be Toys and their allies Let Clothes be Clothes in their campaign to end sexist stereotyping in toys, clothes and books, from manufacturing to the way retailers display their toy sections in store and online. Recently, Toys R Us dropped their online gender filtering and we hope more retailers will follow suit.

If you spot any sexist displays or products when you’re out shopping, do let us (@fawcettsociety) or @LetToysBeToys or @LetClothesBeClothes know on Twitter or Facebook – the more voices we have to call the retailers out, the sooner we can simply let toys be toys, clothes be clothes and books be books! Guardian Witness are also encouraging people to keep an eye out, so let them know too.
