You are invited to the historic unveiling of one of the most significant statues of our time. Millicent Fawcett will become the first women commemorated with a statue in Parliament Square, and the statue will be the first in the square created by a female artist, Gillian Wearing OBE.

Join us in Parliament Square on Tuesday 24 April from 11am. You can arrive from 10:45am to get your space. The unveiling event is open air, so please dress appropriately for the weather.

Please note this event is organised and commissioned by the Mayor of London. If you have questions, please contact the Mayor of London's office directly. The unveiling is supported by 14-18 NOW, Firstsite and Iniva to commemorate the Centenary of the Representation of the People Act 1918, through the Government’s national centenary fund.
