Join Fawcett Society and Runnymede Trust for the launch of our groundbreaking report, Broken Ladders, hosted by Claire Coutinho MP.

Broken Ladders is the first piece of research to focus explicitly on the experiences and perspectives of women of colour in the workplace. It provides an in-depth exploration of the challenges facing women of colour from entry level to senior leadership, across all sectors and in all types of organisations and institutions.

During this event, you will have the opportunity to learn more about our findings and recommendations and hear from leading experts, in a panel session, as they reflect on why this research is vital, to make change for women of colour at work.

This event will be hosted by Claire Coutinho MP and speakers include:

Joyce Mamode, Research Participant

Zaimal Azad, Senior Campaigns Officer, Fawcett Society

Dr Shabna Begum, Head of Research, Runnymede Trust

Florence Eshalomi MP, Labour Party

Alba Kapoor, Senior Policy Manger, Runnymede Trust

There are limited spaces for this event so please do book as soon as possible.

We have worked with over 2,000 women of colour, at all stages of their career journey and our recommendations for change are largely based on their experience. In August 2021, we published our Pay & Progression of Women of Colour Literature Review that you can read here.
