Join The Fawcett Society to celebrate Millicent Fawcett’s historic statue in Parliament Square, followed by a picnic as part of the Great Get-Together!

This June, we’re inviting all our members and supporters to meet us by the steps of the first statue of a woman in Parliament Square. It’ll be your opportunity to take pictures with Millicent along with #OurTimeNow campaign placards provided by the Fawcett team. You’ll also hear from Fawcett’s new Chair Fiona MacTaggart, and our former Chair Belinda Phipps. We’ll then move on to St James’ Park for an afternoon picnic in honour of The Jo Cox Foundation’s Great Get-Together.

The program will be:

11.30 – 12:30pm: Speeches and photos at the statue in Parliament Square

12:30 – 2pm: Great Get-Together picnic at St James’ Park

This will be a great chance to catch up with the Fawcett team, and meet like-minded people over a slice of cake. We look forward to seeing you there!

This event is free for all to attend, so be sure to bring along your friends and family too. Please note that we are not able to provide food or drinks, and so ask that you bring along a packed lunch. You can register your attendance below.
