Volunteer With Us
If you are interested in volunteering with the Fawcett Society and helping to bring about gender equality in the UK, there is lots you can do.
We have volunteering and work experience opportunities for everything; from helping in our busy office with campaigns or communications, to designing t-shirts or writing blogs and running events, as well as helping out at a local Fawcett group in your area.
We are happy to be flexible: you can do part time or full time and fit around childcare, school runs or education days.
We welcome students who want to gain work experience outside term time. There is often a high demand for places so please ensure that you apply early.
So, if you are willing and able to give us a hand, we would love to hear from you. We are currently keen to have maths and IT graduates for our research and to improve our systems. We will try to fit the opportunity to your skills as far as possible.
Send a copy of your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org, indicating what area you are interested in and how many hours you can give us.
Other ways to help
- Join Fawcett as a member: our members are central to everything we do so that’s really the best way to add your voice to our campaigns. You can join from as little as £1.50 per month
- Get involved in one of our local groups who meet regularly, organise events and fundraise for Fawcett. Find out if there is one near you. If you have any trouble getting through to a group, or if there isn’t one in your area and you would like to set one up, do get in touch and we can help you further.
