Over 150 English councils are holding elections on May 4th. Get your voice heard by making some noise today!

Councillors make decisions that affect our daily lives. They are resposible for issues such as education, transport, rubbish collection and many more.

Women are underrepresented in local government - less than 30 percent of councillors are women and under two percent are Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Women.

Follow the 'Make Some Noise!' link in the blue box to find out all you need to know about the local elections and what Fawcett is doing to ensure women's voices are heard.
