Fawcett local group activism

Fawcett supporters run a number of local groups to campaign locally for equality between women and men.

They usually meet once a month and by joining your local group you could be involved in:

  • Supporting Fawcett campaigns
  • Fundraising
  • Getting Fawcett into your local press and radio
  • Organising events and stalls
  • Raising awareness about women’s rights in your local area
  • Lobbying your MPs and MEPs

We’re delighted to have a small – but growing – number of local groups and their work is invaluable to Fawcett as an organisation.
