Events
On the 5th September 2010, thousands of women will come together and run the adidas Women’s 5K Challenge, a fun run for women of all ages and abilities taking place in Hyde Park, London.
Fawcett needs YOU!
We’re asking our members and supporters to run the challenge to raise funds for the Fawcett Society.
Why run for Fawcett?
Fawcett are leading the fight for women’s equality in the UK. As the nation’s finances are squeezed, the fight is getting tougher. Making sure women are paid fairly, have access to the help they need when they’re in trouble AND aren’t forgotten in the rush to cut spending takes time – and money!
We ask that each runner raises just £200.
What will I get out of it?
Take part in the number one campaign for women’s equality in the UK
Get together with other like minded women on a fun day out
Show the world that feminism is still alive and kicking!
How do I find out more?
Registering for the race takes just minutes, but places are going fast, so don’t delay, or email us now [events(a)fawcettsociety.org.uk] for more details of what’s involved and how you can join our team.
