Raise Funds For Fawcett

Fawcett Society Supporters

Many of our supporters have raised money in support of Fawcett’s vital campaigns, helping our work to close the equality gap between women and men.

There are lots of ways to fundraise, from local raffles and auctions, to coffee mornings or even an International Women’s Day event. What better way to involve your local community while raising money for Fawcett?

You can also fundraise through your sports club or raise sponsorship through your place in the marathon or local fun run. You can even request donations in lieu of birthday presents.

When you buy flowers you can choose to give to Fawcett.

To collect sponsorship money or donations you can use Just Giving website. Just Giving is a simple, fast and totally secure way for your friends, family and colleagues to make donations. Fawcett receives the money direct, along with Gift Aid tax if donors are UK taxpayers. It is a really cost effective way to give. There are lots of fundraising tips on Just Giving too.

Why I supported Fawcett through the Triathlon:

Lee Chalmers raised £1600 for Fawcett “In a moment of madness/inspiration I applied for a place on the Virgin Active London Triathlon in July. I decided to do this to raise money for The Fawcett Society, where I am a Trustee, as they are an organisation committed to bringing about a world where women and men are equally valued. The work of protecting women’s rights through policy might not be as attractive as quick and loud feminist campaigns but it is crucial and needs to be funded.” – Lee Chalmers
