There are 1 million more women voters than men in the EU referendum. Women will decide the outcome. Women’s voices have so far been largely absent from the debate yet this is a critical issue which will affect women’s lives.
The Fawcett Society is staging the debate on the women’s vote for the EU Referendum campaign. Come and hear both sides of the argument and take part in what promises to be a lively and fascinating discussion.
Panelists include: Vicky Pryce, former Joint Head of the UK’s Government Economic Service, Suzanne Evans, founder member of Women for Britain and board member of Vote Leave, Kate Green MP, Labour MP for Stretford and Urmston, Deborah Mattinson, Founding Director of BritainThinks, and Catherine Mayer, co-founder of the Women’s Equality Party. Anushka Asthana, joint Political Editor of the Guardian, will chair the event.
